CourseDessert Servings Prep Time 6 Slices 20 Cook Time Passive Time 25 15 Servings Prep Time 6 Slices 20 Cook Time Passive Time 25 15 Ingredients FOR CAKE 2 cup All purpose flour (Maida) 3/4 cup Cocoa powder unsweetened 1 teaspoon Baking powder 1 teaspoon Baking soda 3 Eggs 2 cup Sugar 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract/essence 1 cup Butter melted FOR ICING 1 cup Butter room temperature 3/4 cup Cocoa powder unsweetened 5 cup Sugar 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract/essence 1 teaspoon Instant coffee 2 Tablespoon Whip cream Servings: Slices Instructions CAKE Sieve 2 cups Maida(Flour) into a bowl. Sieve 3/4 cup Cocoa Powder (Unsweetened) into it. Add 1 teaspoon of Baking Powder in it. Add 1 teaspoon of Baking soda in it. Mix everything well. Take 3 Eggs in a bowl or cup. Add 2 cups of refined Sugar into it. Whisk both together using a whisker or fork for 1 minute. Boil 3-4 cups of water into a vessel or pan. Place a bowl on it and pour the wet mixture into the bowl. Whisk continuously till all the sugar get dissolved and it becomes lukewarm. Take it out from the burner and transfer it immediately to a stand mixture. Whisk for 3-5 minutes, till it becomes fluffy. Add 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract/essence to it. Remove the container from the stand mixture. Now add dry ingredients to it, small portions at a time and mix it using cut and fold technique. Add 1 cup melted Butter in it and mix well. Grease a Baking Pan using oil or butter and pour the batter into it. Tap the Pan 2-3 times to remove bubbles. Bake the cake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes at 180°C/356°F. Take out the cake and check it using a knife. If knife comes out clean, means cake is fully cooked. If not cook for some more time. Cool down the cake completely for 15 minutes. ICING For icing, take 1 cup Butter in a stand mixture. Add Sugar and Cocoa Powder in it. Mix using stand mixture. Add Vanilla extract/essence in it. Add Instant Coffee in it. Add whip cream to it. Mix it till it becomes fluffy. Now spread the prepared icing on the cake evenly. Cut the cake. BON APPETIT!
