Ingredients

For frying paneer

  • 4 tbsp All purpose flour (Maida)
  • 3 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 10 curry leaves
  • Water as required
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g paneer
  • Oil for frying

Making gravy

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp ginger chopped
  • 2 tsp garlic chopped
  • 2 dry red chilli
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 medium onion cubed
  • 1 small capsicum chopped
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1/2 tsp corn flour
  • 1 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp spring onions chopped

For garnishing

Instructions

For frying paneer

  • In a bowl, maida, corn flour, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, black pepper and curry leaves.
  • Add water as required to make a thick batter.
  • Then add 1 tsp salt and mix everything well.
  • Add 400 g paneer cubes to the batter and mix it well so that the paneer is coated with batter.
  • Drop the paneer cubes in hot oil one by one to fry them.
  • Fry the paneer until crisp on medium high heat. Keep the paneer aside.

For Gravy

  • In a wok, add 2 oil, 1 tsp ginger and garlic. Fry everything for a minute.
  • Add dried red chillies, green chillies and mix it.
  • Then add onion, capsicum to the wok. Fry it for 2 minutes on high heat.
  • Add 10 curry leaves and mix them too.
  • Mix corn flour, Kashmiri chilli powder to curd.
  • Add the curd mixture, chilli sauce to the wok and mix it well. Cook the mixture on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add the paneer to the wok. Mix and coat everything well.
  • Now mix spring onion greens to the wok and your paneer 65 is ready.
  • Garnish with spring onion greens, serve and enjoy!
