This recipe is about how to make street style maggi masala. I love maggi a lot. Mostly I used to make maggi by just boiling it in water as it takes less time but since I discovered this recipe, it’s so easy and quick to make fried maggi. You don’t even need to boil the maggi separately in water and then mix it with the other fried ingredients. That’s why it’s less time taking.


I have used tomato and green peas in vegetables but you can add any veggies of your choice like carrots, capsicum and cabbage. Also I have used only the maggi masala came with the maggi but to make it more spicy you can add some more maggi masala which is easily available in the market.
Some people boil the maggi separately in water and them mix it with the fried vegetables to avoid the sogginess, but if you use this recipe to make maggi masala trust me you don’t need to boil the maggi separately as it won’t become soggy.

You can also add fried egg at last if you like the taste of it. Also to increase flavour, you can add a tablespoon of butter at last. It will definitely increase it’s flavour.

Some people also like to add tomato ketchup in the maggi but I don’t like the taste of it in the maggi so I don’t add it.

Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add green chillis and onion to it. Fry until onion becomes translucent.
  2. Add tomatoes to it and cook until soft.
  3. Add green peas and cook for a minute. I used frozen peas so it only took me 1-2 minutes to cook. If you are using fresh peas, cook it for more time.
  4. Now take maggi masala, turmeric and garam masala in a small bowl and add water to it. Mix well and add it to the veggies and mix.
  5. Add hot water and salt to it and mix. Boil it.
  6. Add maggi and stir it until it becomes dry.
  7. At last add chopped coriander leaves to it and mix. Serve it hot.

  3. Add green peas to it and mix well. Cook it for a minute or until it becomes soft.

  4. Take maggi masala, turmeric and garam masala in a small bowl. Add water to it and mix well. Add this to the veggies and mix well.

  5. Add hot water and salt to it. Mix well and boil on high heat.
  6. Add maggi to it and mix well. Stir continuously until it becomes dry.
  7. At last add coriander leaves to it and mix well.
  8. Turn off the heat and serve hot. Bon appetite!
