Ingredients

  1. Add finely chopped fenugreek leaves/methi leaves into a bowl.
  2. Add 1 tsp Ginger paste 1 tsp Green chillies 1/4 tsp Ajwain/Carom seeds 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder/haldi 1/2 tsp Red chiili powder 1 tsp Salt 1/2 tsp Sugar Powder 1 tsp Oil/Ghee to it.
  3. Mix everything well.
  4. Now add Wheat flour into it and mix.
  5. Add Curd/yogurt into it, in small portions and kneed it to form a soft dough. (Add more yogurt if required)
  6. Take a small portion of dough and roll it to a round and very thin thepla.
  7. Heat the tawa or pan and apply oil/ghee on it.
  8. Place the thepla on it and cook it till golden brown, on medium heat.
  9. Flip the thepla and cook the other side.
  10. Apply oil on both side and press gently.
  11. Take out and serve hot.
