  1. Add garlic cloves and soaked dry red chillies(soak 6-8 dry red chillies in hot water for 30 minutes) in a blender. Blend it smooth. Add water if required. Keep it aside.
  2. Steam or boil roughly chopped cauliflower, carrots, beans and peas.
  3. In a large bowl, add boiled potatoes and mash it. Now add steamed/boiled veggies to it. Mash everything well.
  4. Heat a pan. Add 1 Tbsp butter and 1 tsp oil to it.
  5. Add cumin seeds/jeera to it. Let it crackle.
  6. Now add garlic-chilli paste to it. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Add finely chopped onions to it. Mix well. Cook until translucent.
  8. Add chopped capsicum and salt to it. Mix well. Cover and cook until capsicum becomes soft.
  9. Now add finely chopped tomatoes to it. Cover and let it cook until tomatoes becomes soft.
  10. Add tomato puree (I used canned one) and pav bhaji masala to it. Mix well.
  11. Add mashed veggies to it and mix well.
  12. Add salt to adjust the taste (if required).
  13. Add 2 cups water and chilli powder. Mix well.
  14. Now mash the veggies again using a masher. Add some more water if required.
  15. At last add lime juice and mix. Boil it for 2-3 minutes. Turn off the heat.
  16. For the Pav, heat tawa/pan.
  17. Add butter on it.
  18. Add some pav bhaji masala to it and place sliced pav on it.
  19. Apply butter on the upper part of pav. Cook from both sides.
  20. Serve hot!
