Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Add milk, sugar and ghee/clarified butter in a pan.
  2. Heat it till sugar is dissolved completely.
  3. Turn off the gas and let it cool completely.
  4. Now take maida/all purpose flour in a bowl.
  5. Add semolina/rawa and salt to it. Mix it.
  6. Add prepared liquid mixture to it. Knead and form a soft dough. Add more maida if required. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Now take a small portion of dough, roll it a little and place it on the fork. Press it using your thumb and roll it to make the desired shape.
  8. Prepare all shakarparas at once.
  9. Now heat the oil in a deep pan and fry the shakarpara till golden brown. (Low-Medium heat)
  10. Take them out on tissue/paper towel to remove the excess oil.
