Home made Whole wheat bread sounds tough right? But it’s not, here is really simple and always successful recipe for whole wheat bread. Generally people don’t like this dense bread so people generally add All purpose flour in it. But this recipe is the best recipe I have come so far for bread. Its super healthy and yummy. WHOLE WHEAT BREAD
Take a 2/3 cup of Hot Water (just little hot than lukewarm).
Add 1/2 teaspoon Sugar in it and mix.
Add 1.25 teaspoon Active dry yeast and mix.
Keep aside for 10 minutes.
Add 2 cups Wheat flour in a bowl.
Add 3 Tablespoon Milk Powder in it.
Add 1 teaspoon Salt, Yeast mixture, 1.5 Tablespoon Oil and 2 Tablespoon Honey in it.
Now use a stand mixer to knead it for 10 minutes. (You can also use your hands to knead the dough)
Take some oil in your palm and coat the dough with it.
Cover the dough using cling film or cloth and put it in a warm place for 2 hours.
After 2 hours, the dough should look like this.
Dust some flour on the surface and put the dough on it.
Stretch the dough and fold. Repeat this process for 2 minutes.
Take out the baking Pan of 7 1/2 x 3 inches and match the size of dough and pan.
Fold the dough, if needed and seal it. Put it inside the Pan.
Take some oil in your palm and apply it on top of the dough.
Cover it and place it at a warm place.
After 2 hours, the size of the dough will be doubled. Apply some oil agin on the top.
Bake the dough in the oven at 175°C/347°F for 45 minutes.
After 30 minutes apply some water on the top. (so that it does not become too crusty)
And let it bake for the rest of the time.
Take out the bread from the Oven and cool it down completely.
Take out the bread from Pan using knife.
