Rasgulla

Ingredients

  • 1 litre milk full fat
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp corn flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cardamom

Instructions

  • First add full fat milk in a pan
  • boil it on medium heat
  • add lime juice 
  • add and mix little at a time until curdles
  • strain it using a muslin cloth
  • add cold water and squeeze out all the water
  • place a heavy object on it and leave it for 30 minutes
  • now break it into small pieces and knead it 
  • make it smooth by pressing
  • knead it for 10-12 minutes
  • add corn flour and mix it well for 2 minutes
  • apply oil on the palm, take a small portion and press between palm
  • roll it smooth without any cracks and keep it
  • now add sugar, water and cardamom in a pan
  • boil it on high heat
  • drop the balls
  • cover and boil it on medium heat
  • stir in between
  • boil it for 10 minutes
  • let it cool
  • soft and juicy rasgulla is ready
