Sprouts cheela is a super healthy breakfast recipe made by using green moong sprouts. It is a perfect recipe for weight loss.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup moong dal whole
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 green chillies
  • 20 gram ginger
  • coriander leaves handful
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tbsp gram flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp oil

Instructions

  • Take a cup of green moong dal in a bowl and fill it with water.
  • Soak it for 4 hours.
  • Remove the excess water.
  • Transfer it to an air tight container and leave it for 4 hours
  • sprouts are ready.
  • now add green chillies, ginger, coriander, salt, sprouts, onion and water in a blender and blend it.
  • Add rice flour, gram flour, salt, and oil and mix it well.
  • Add some water and mix it to dosa batter consistency.
  • Apply oil on the tawa and spread the batter thin.
  • Cover and cook on low medium heat for 1-2 minutes
  • Crispy sprouts cheela is ready.

Notes

  1. Making sprouts is quite a process. It may take time to prepare sprouts depending on the weather.
  2. You can store sprouts in a refrigerator upto 10 days.
  3. You can also make these cheela by just soaking any dal for 3 hours. Don't need to sprout it.
