Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast
  • 2 cup flour/ maida
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp curd
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • coriander leaves

Instructions

  • To prepare garlic naan first take water and add sugar and yeast
  • mix it well and keep it for 10 minutes
  • now take a bowl and add flour, salt, oil, curd and prepared yeast mixture
  • mix it well
  • add water and knead a soft dough
  • cover it with using wet cloth and keep it for 1-2 hours
  • now take butter in a bowl and add garlic and coriander leaves
  • mix it well
  • now apply oil on the palm and knead the dough a little
  • take a small portion and roll in oval shape
  • strech it a little using your fingers
  • apply water on the side
  • place it on a baking tray and apply prepared garlic butter
  • bake it on high for 3-4 minutes
  • take it out and brush garlic butter
  • Now to cook with out oven place the prepared naan on the hot tawa
  • cook for a minute on both sides on flame using wire
  • brush garlic butter
  • garlic naan is ready
