Ingredients

  • 4 cup water
  • 2 cups methi/fenugreek
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 10 cashews
  • 12 gram ginger
  • 2 green chilli
  • 2 medium onion
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups peas
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/3 cup fresh cream

Instructions

  • To prepare methi malai matar first add water and methi in a container
  • boil it for 2 minutes
  • drain out water
  • add cold water and squeeze it
  • now in an another container add water, cashews, ginger, geen chilli and onion
  • cover and boil for 5 minutes
  • drain out water and blend it
  • now add oil, cumin seeds and blended puree in a pan
  • fry it a little and add little water
  • add methi and mix it well
  • now add coriander powder, garam masala and salt
  • mix it well
  • add milk and mix it well
  • add green peas and cook for 1-2 minutes on medium heat
  • add sugar and fresh cream and mix it well
  • methi malai matar is ready
