To prepare black forest cake first add maida, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt
sift it and add it in a bowl
mix it well
in an another bowl add eggs and beat for few minutes
add sugar and mix iot well
place it on a container with boiling water
cook until sugar is dissolved
beat until it becomes light
add the dry ingredients in batches and mix it well
add melted butter, vanilla extract and mix it well
transfer it to a baking tray
make it smooth
bake it at 175°C/350°F for 50 minutes
now add canned cherries in a pan and add sugar
mash it a little and cook until sugar melts on medium heat
let it cool
cut off the top portion of the cake
divide it in two layers
brush the cherry syrup
add the whipped cream and add the prepared cherries
place another layer and repeat the process
add whipped cream all over
add some chocolate shaving
decorate it with icing
add cherry and chocolate shaving
