Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 2 1/4 cup maida/flour
  • 1 tbsp semolina
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • To prepare shakarpara first, add milk, sugar and ghee in a container
  • boil till sugar is dissolved and let it cool
  • now in a bowl add flour/maida, semolina and salt and mix it well
  • add the prepared mixture little at a time and mix it
  • add flour in batches and mix it
  • knead a soft dough and leave for 5 minutes
  • take a small portion and roll it on the fork
  • drop it in hot oil and fry till golden brown on low medium heat
  • shakarpara is ready
