Ingredients

Aloo ka halwa

  • 3 medium potatoes boiled
  • 3 tbsp ghee
  • 4 almonds
  • 4 cashew
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder

Aloo ki sabzi

  • 2 tsp ghee
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 green chilli
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 medium potatoes boiled
  • 1 tsp rock salt
  • 1 cup curd
  • coriander handful
  • 1/2 cup water

Singhare ki poori

  • 1 cup singhara flour
  • 1 medium potato boiled
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp water
  • ghee

Instructions

  • To prepare vrat ki thali first lets prepare aloo ka halwa, aloo ki sabzi then singhare ki poori

For aloo ka halwa

  • To prepare aloo ka halwa, take 3 medium sized boiled potatoes and grate it
  • now in a pan add ghee, almonds, cashews, and fry for a minute
  • take it out and add grated potatoes
  • cook it for 4 minutes on medium heat
  • add sugar and mix it well until sugar is dissloved
  • add cardamom powder and mix it well
  • now add the fried dry fruits and mix it well
  • aloo ka halwa is ready

For aloo ki sabzi

  • In a pan add ghee, cumin seeds, green chilli, and let it crackle
  • add chilli powder and potatoes and mix it well
  • add rock salt and mix it
  • turn off the heat
  • now add curd and mix it well
  • turn on the heat
  • add coriander leaves and mix it well
  • add water and mix it
  • boil it for minutes

For singhare ki poori

  • In a bowl add singhara flour, grated potatoes, rock salt, cumin seeds, and knead a soft dough
  • add water and mix it
  • apply oil on the palm
  • use a polythene to roll
  • apply ghee and roll it
  • drop it in hot oil and fry on high heat
  • press until it puffs up
  • add everything in a large plate
  • vrat ki thali is ready
