garlic knots recipe

Ingredients

for bread

  • 3/4 cup lukewarm water
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 1/4 tbsp yeast
  • 2 cups flour/maida
  • 2 tbsp olive
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oil

For garlic paste

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/3 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup coriander

Instructions

for bread

  • First take lukewarm water and add sugar and yeast to it
  • now mix it well and let it prove
  • take a glass bowl and add maida/flour
  • add the yeast mixture and olive and mix it well
  • now add salt and knead a soft dough
  • add some flour and knead it for 10 minutes
  • now take another bowl and grease it with oil
  • tuck the dough and keep it, cover it with cling wrap 
  • now let it prove for 2 hours 
  • Again add some flour and knead it for 10 more minutes
  • divide it in two portions
  • cut the one portion in equal sized pieces 
  • now add some flour and stretch it
  • make a knot, place it on a baking tray and leave it for an hour
  • now bake it at 200°C/400°F for 15 minutes
  • your garlic bread is ready

for garlic paste

  • add butter to a hot pan and let it melt
  • now add minced garlic, chilli flakes, black pepper and coriander to it
  • mix it well
  • apply the garlic paste to hot breads
  • your Garlic knots are ready
