Ingredients

for stuffing

  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 2 green chilli
  • 150 gram cabbage
  • 52 gram carrot
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce

for dough

  • 2 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oil
  • water

for sauce

  • 1 tsp oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 8 dry red chillies soaked in water
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vinegar

Instructions

fot stuffing

  • to prepare veg momos first, add oil, ginger, garlic and green chillies,
  • fry it a little
  • add cabbage, carrot, salt and mix it well
  • cook for 2 minutes
  • add soy sauce, and mix it

for dough

  • add flour, salt, oil, and water in a bowl
  • knead a little hard dough
  • take a small portion and roll it thin
  • add the stuffing and apply water on the dough
  • seal it properly and join the corners to give it a momo shape
  • take a thin rolled dough and add stuffing and make pleats and seal it
  • place it in a steamer and steam for 10 minutes

for chutney

  • in a blender add, garlic, dry red chillies soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • blend it smooth
  • now add oil, prepared paste in a pan
  • add tomato puree and cook for a minute
  • add salt and vinegar and mix it
  • veg momos are ready
