- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp ginger chopped
- 1 tbsp garlic chopped
- 1/4 cup celery chopped
- 1/2 cup beans chopped
- 1/2 cup carrot chopped
- 1/2 cup mushroom chopped
- 1 cup cabbage shredded
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp chilli sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 3 cups water
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sugar
Heat oil in a wok and add ginger and garlic to it.
Now add celery to the wok and fry it for a minute.
Add beans and carrot to the wok and cook it on medium heat until the vegetables become soft.
Now add mushroom and cabbage to the wok. Cook it on medium heat until the veggies become soft.
Add salt, black pepper, soy sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar and mix everything well.
Pour 3 cups water or stock into the wok and mix it well.
Take corn flour and mix it with 2 tbsp water to make a slurry.
Pour the slurry into the wok and mix it well so that no lumps are formed.
Boil the soup for 4 minutes while stirring in between.
Add sugar, a handful of spring onion greens and mix it well.
Now turn the heat off and pour the soup into bowls.
Garnish with spring onions and your hot n sour soup is ready. Serve hot and enjoy!
