Plain dosa

Ingredients

  • 3 cups rice
  • `1 cup urad dal
  • 2 tbsp methi seeds
  • water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp oil

Instructions

  • To prepare plain dosa first, add rice, urad dal and methi seeds, in a bowl and wash it
  • add water and soak for 4 hours
  • now add it to the blender and grind it fine to prepare doa batter
  • add little water and mix it well
  • add salt and mix it well
  • now cover it and leave it for 8-10 hours
  • foam is formed and now mix it well
  • now rub oil using onion on the pan
  • sprinkle some water and add dosa batter on it
  • sprea it thin and evenly
  • add oil
  • cover and cook for a minute
  • plain dosa is ready
