Most of the time you wonder how to make restaurant style shahi paneer? Since this is the best gravy option in restaurant for vegetarians.

After attempting so many different recipes of paneer, this is my favourite and best one. If not really restaurant style, it is at least very much close to it. Try this really yummy and healthy recipe.

Shahi paneer

Ingredients

  • 10 cashews
  • 2-3 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 124 gram onion
  • 174 gram tomato
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp fresh cream
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 100 gram paneer
  • 1 tsp garam masala

Instructions

  • To prepare shahi paneer first add cashews and milk in a blender and blend it
  • now add butter, oil, cumin seeds, in a pan and let it crackle
  • add garlic paste and fry for minute
  • add onion and fry until it becomes translucent
  • now and tomato and cover and cook for 5 minutes
  • add coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric and salt and mix it well
  • now cover and cook for 3 minutes
  • let it cool completely
  • now add it to the blender and grind it and make a paste
  • add butter, prepared paste and cashew paste in a pan and mix it well
  • cook it for 2 minutes
  • add honey and water and mix it well
  • now add fresh cream, cardamom powder, lime juice and mix it well
  • now add water and paneer and mix it
  • add garam masala and cover it and cook for a minute
  • shahi paneer is ready
