Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Sift refined flour/maida, baking powder, baking soda and salt through a sifter.
  2. Mix well using a fork.
  3. Take a large bowl. Add fresh cream and sugar to it. Whisk using a whisker until it becomes soft.
  4. Now add oil and mix well.
  5. Add warm milk and milk power to it. Mix well using a whisker.
  6. Now add dry ingredients. Add sifted mixture.
  7. Add custard powder(vanilla flavoured).
  8. Add vanilla extract/essence. Mix everything very well.
  9. Take a cake mould(8.5 inch) and grease it with butter/oil. You can also use parchment paper.
  10. Transfer the cake mixture to it. Use a spatula to even the surface. Tap the cake mould on the base/platform 2-3 times to remove air bubbles.
  11. Bake it in a pre heated oven for 40-45 minutes at 180°C/356°F. Keep an eye on the cake.
  12. When done, use a skewer and insert it into the centre of the cake. If it comes out clean, means cake is done. Otherwise bake for some more time.
  13. Let it cool when done.
  14. Take it out of the mould and enjoy!
