  3. As an alternate, you can use cottage cheese or tofu in the place of feta cheese. You can also replace basil leaves with dried herbs available.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Boiled pasta On recipe: Fusilli
  • 1 Green capsicum diced
  • 1 Red bell pepper diced
  • 1 Yellow bell pepper diced
  • 1 Onion large; diced medium
  • 10 Cherry tomatoes Each cut half
  • 8 Walnuts
  • 10 Black olives Sliced
  • 1/4 cup Feta cheese Cut into cubes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil Extra virgin
  • 6 Basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated

Instructions

  • In a pot of boiling water, add fusilli pasta with a tablespoon of oil and a teaspoon of salt. Boil the pasta, strain it and keep aside.
  • Take a bowl and add the boiled pasta.
  • To this, add one diced capsicum, followed by one diced red and yellow bell pepper each.
  • Then add one chopped large onion and ten cherry tomatoes. Then, add walnuts and black olives.
  • After this, add 1/4th cup of feta cheese cubes, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder.
  • To complete the salad dressing add 4 tablespoons of olive oil with basil leaves and 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese to the bowl.
  • Give a nice mix and serve in a bowl a little cold.

Notes

You can also add broccoli or sweet corn to the salad.
