Tips

  1. Do not add water or milk while making mango puree or crystals will form while freezing ice cream.
  2. Make sure that you use a chilled bowl while beating whipped cream so that it sets properly.
  3. Use chilled whipping cream and make sure to whip it really well so as to make the perfect ice cream.
  4. Use air tight container to freeze the ice cream otherwise crystals will form.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 kg mango chopped
  • 500 ml whipping cream chilled
  • 280 grams condensed milk chilled

For garnish

  • Mango puree optional

Instructions

  • Blend 1 kg mango to form puree.
  • Beat whipped cream in a chilled bowl until stiff peaks are formed.
  • Add condensed milk to the bowl and beat it for 2 minutes.
  • Add mango puree to the mixture and mix everything until combined.
  • Transfer to air tight container.
  • Add puree on top if desired. Make swirls using a skewer.
  • cover ice cream with lid and freeze for 8 hours.
  • Mango ice cream is ready. Enjoy!

Mango Ice cream- step by step instructions with pictures

    1. Add 1 kg chopped mango to a blender. Blend to form a puree but do not add any milk or water.
    2. In a chilled bowl add whipping cream and beat it using beater to form stiff peaks. (refer video) beat whipping cream
    3. Add condensed milk to the bowl and beat it for 2 minutes.




  1. Add the mango puree to the bowl and mix it again to combine everything perfectly. Use a spatula to scrape out the sides of the bowl.

  2. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container.
  3. If you want then you can add a little bit of mango puree on the top to give a nice texture to it. Make swirls using a skewer.making swirls
  4. Cover the ice cream with a lid and let it freeze for at least 8 hours.
